Chief of Staff - The Key Stakeholders [VIDEO]

There are 3 sets of stakeholders that the Chief of Staff typically serves: the CEO, the executive team and the board/investors. I get into each of them in the following video.

THE CEO

The Chief of Staff’s primary stakeholder is the CEO. She can act as a force multiplier that extends the capabilities of her principal.

THE EXECUTIVE TEAM

The second set of stakeholders that Chief of Staff serves are the executive team. These include the CPO, CFO, CRO, CMO, etc.

In group executive settings, the Chief of Staff can help run executive meetings and drive agendas to completion. She can also run strategic initiatives on behalf of the leadership. For example, she can research new geos that the sales team is looking to expand into.

THE BOARD & INVESTORS

Finally, the Chief of Staff serves the board and investors. She can prepare analysis and create board decks. She can also assist the CEO in their fundraising activities with investors.
